Our story

Grassland Junction is more than a shopping centre — it’s a vibrant community destination where people can shop, connect, work, live and enjoy life.

Serving communities across southern Pietermaritzburg, including Hayfields, Lincoln Meade, Scottsville, Cleland and Mkondeni, we aim to bring convenience, quality retail, essential services, wellness and recreation closer to home.

Our mission is to create a convenient, accessible and welcoming destination that meets the changing needs of our community.

Through a diverse mix of retail, services, residential, wellness and recreational offerings, we aim to support local businesses, encourage community connection and contribute to the growth of the surrounding area.
